Well this was going to be a post about our nursery for our soon to arrive son, but on Tuesday night, things all started happening and he arrived on Wednesday! A couple of weeks early, but big and happy and health. 7 lbs, 15 oz and 20 inches of boy! We've named him Gabriel David and we'll call him Gabe.
Pretty much no question that he's the best thing I've made so far!!
Now on to some photos of the nursery that I took on Tuesday, just hours before I went into labor. It's a small room, so it's hard to photograph but we've had a great time putting it together.
The quilt you see here was made by my friend Liz Harvatine and it's so beautiful... It works perfectly in the room and we're thrilled to have it.
Next amazing quilt in the room is made by Jacquie Gering and boy do I love it.
Not to worry - there will be a post in the future showing more detailed shots of all of the handmade goods this kid is lucky enough to have received. He is seriously one lucky lil' guy!
He's so lucky that these little feet...
...already have their first pair of Cons!
So now that he's here... I'll really need to find the time to get started on making him a quilt!
